First of all my truck is a 95 silverado extended cab 2wd. I finally got around to tearing apart the extended cab interior today. Everything went pretty good until I got to the upper and lower back glass pieces. I broke almost every clip off of those pieces. The good news is I have some epoxy that will hold 3500 psi so I think I can reuse them. My first question is how does the plastic cover come off of the seat belt deals (on the floor right behind the front two seats on either side of the cab) for the front seat? They are scratched up pretty bad and while I've got it apart I want to replace them. Next, I want to upgrade my stock speakers but I want direct fit replacements. I want something that has good bass but will still play good without distortion. Third question, whats the best but cheapest insolation/sound deadening material?

just replace them to be on the safe side..they are about 20-30 bucks at the dealer

you have to remove the back seat...the lower part of the seatbelt will slide off and then you can remove the plastic

get a 3 way 4x6..pioneer or kenwood..

The old man didn't seem to be real happy when I told him what I did to my trucks interior. I'm on a tight budget so I think I'm gonna try to glue the pieces with the epoxy since I know exactly how strong it is.
I meant the seat belt for the front seat. I can think of any practical name for it but it's the plastic cover that hides the seat belt mechanism.
What would be the best place to get the speakers from? Does it require any "customizing" to the stock speaker wires to hook up the aftermarket replacements?

Ya for what it was designed for shedding Heat. It has SOME deadening properties but is really not an effective deadner.

As for the front seatbelt..get a torx head..dont know the size off hand..and remove the plastic piece that is attached at the top of the seatbelt....just unscrew the bolt..and the seatbelt will just fall down
