windows?

i have a 97 4 door tahoe and it has the child saftey lock windows were they only roll down likre a third of the way . i was wondering if there were a way to get them all the way down thanks

yea there should be a windo lock or something on the driver door that you press and allows you to roll them down..

if not..check your owners book it will be in there

i think the doors arent wide enough at the bottom for the window to go all the way down.

:word: i think I remember reading that too.

They can not go down any further, there is no room in the door for the glass to go down due to the body and the shape of the door opening.

yea it is stopped by where the door and the wheel well meet. but now if u had a suburban then they would go all the way down. all that child safety window is is just a button that u press so no one else can roll the windows down besides u since u can control all the windows from ur door.
