I never thought I was gonna do this. Kinda up and decided a few days ago after talking to someone about it. I figured the outside of the truck was 2 tone so why not bring it inside. I love the color and personally I think it came out awesome. Im not really done yet cuz I want to do the back pillars too and maybe the console. I just wanted something different than the all same color beige. What do you guys think..Should I be proud or should I regret this.

By the Way,, those switched in the old storage space panel below the air controls are only temporary. They will be removed when I get another HU and the pocket will go back.

If CKTA took the time to post in one of my threads then I feel good.
If CKTA took the time to make a positive comment about my truck, I feel better.
If CKTA made the comment without some assclown comment and was serious then I feel really proud right now

Looks damn good. Makes me wish white and maroon actually went well together and I would do it to my interior.

I remember Tribal Vision doing this in blue and I had it in the back of my mind when I started pulling pieces off. Check out his interior pics if you havent already. That might get the bug in your ear

It looks great! Just remember though that there will always be the person at the drive in that asks "what the heck did you do that for?" Then he'll get into his Geo Metro 4 door that he's still paying for! What you do is your own taste. Who cares that anyone else likes it!

I have ONE payment left on my truck and then I OWN it..

Besides if nobody likes your new interior they don't need to ride in it with you. THIS EQUALS BETTER GAS MILAGE!!!!

Green95hoe, Payments aren't bad if it's for something desirable and you like it. Envy for me is someone who has a nice car and they can fix it (or at least tinker with) themself!!!

If you take your tahoe badges off the outside it looks hella clean and can be used to replace the front door sills. Can be cut and countersunk to fit beatifully and with the Tahoe and chevy emblem it looks super trick.

Wow, I feel really good about this now. I never imagined so many people would like it. Thank you all very much for the comments and Yes Josh, thanks for your help. If I had to stop and run for paint I would have never got it done so thank you. As for the last payemts on the truck... well visions of Micky Thompson Claws and some new wheels, a 383 and a nice system sound pretty good. I really need to sack some away in the bank so I can build my house... Of course we all know that once there is a couple grand in there ill just roll my ass down to the shop and open the wallet. Every dollar I make seems to go to the truck as sometimes I wonder why I didnt resort to a simpler cheaper hobby like collecting coins or something. I cant fathom the extra cash I would have today if I didnt have to spend it on the hoe

I cleaned each piece with greased lightning and then when dry I shot it with Bulldog adhesion promoter. 2 coats of that and then 2 coats of the green finished by 2 coats of clear coat. The texture of the plastic was retained and it looks great. I think I might do that console too. As for that lever on the floor, its being removed so I can put a functional floor shifter in its place.. as explained in another thread posted earlier today

Ive been thinking about doing this for a while. Only thing stopping me was the fact that the beige strip might look too overpowering without that bumper strip breaking it up. Once its off, theres no going back, just like the paint

im right there with you bro, i have two left, $650 and then i am done. all of that will be paid off by two weeks from today.
and yes, i think the green looks bada$$. you kind of have an earth tone look going on with the green/tan/woodgrain steering wheel. its different and it works

I was gonna ditch the wood grain cover but the leather was so worn out underneath that it looked horrible. I guess I should look into other options there too

Went to Pep Boys and grabbed a can of Bulldog Adhesion Promoter and some cans of truck color (in my shade of green but it was a Phord color) and some standard clear coat.
