View Full Version : What to use to clean rubber floors?

I have a rubber floor in my truck and it was a farm truck before I got it and I want the get that shiney black back again. The catch is I don't want it slippery like some stuff that people use. Please help thanks.

Any product that produces a shine will make it slippery.:( Simple Green will make it nice and clean tho.:D

Crap that was what I was thinking but didn't know if any of you guys knew of a product that did that.

You know what you could try on a small test area.....Endust or Pledge might work.

murphys oil soap works great on rubber

I use Tuff Stuff (big yellow can) to clean my interior. It may shine it a little but it doesn't leave much if any slippery stuff.

Read the side of the can. It may not say it works on rubber but I bet it would clean it.

I use Windex on my rubber floor. Spray it on, use a stiff brissled brush to scrub and then wipe off with paper towl. Isn't slippery at all when it's finished.

Your truck has a rubber floor? Cleaning it you ask?

The answer is simple.

Use a hose. If you can't bring yourself to that, a brush and a bucket of water will work fine.

You dont clean rubbers.....throw em away. Thats gross, man. :D

1500-3500 psi sprayer. I highly suggest that you take it out of the truck first. I did my carpet this weekend. It looks almost new. It smells 1000 times better.
