interior painting experts help!

im painting a couple of interior pieces and cant get two vent pieces off. anybody with a 97-99(or any other year that doesnt have cupholders on the passengers side dash)....how do you get those two vents out?

the ones on the passenger side dash, on either side of the airbag

If it's the ones that I am thinking about you can get a small regular screwdriver and pry out the top and they will pop right out

sweet thanks ill try that. and while im at it ill see if you guys can tell me how to get off another piece. this one is the little trim piece that goes around the air bag. theres the actual air bag panel with the writing on it and then a little piece that goes around the air bag, thats the one im trying to get off

ok so i got the passenger side vents out, but i still need to know about the airbag trim piece, the part that goes over the airbag(any way to get that out without deploying the airbag?) and also the pull out cupholder in the dash....anybody?

I''m pretty sure there are some screws under the cupholde if you take off the lower trim peice on the dash..for the trim around the airbag.. i will try and find out for you..hope this helps you out
