On a 2004 2500HD crewcab, the rear seats fold flat but the head restraint prevents the front seat from going back as far as I would like. I can't figure out how to remove those head restraints. Should be able to right? I have SLT interior.
As she said on Saturday Night Live - "never mind". I gave up too soon. I went back out and looked closer. Found the little holes on the inside. A small piece of wire or a large paper clip pushes and releases the catch on the post. The trick is pulling up after you release one side and trying to push in the other. The pressure you put on the latch pulling prevents you from pushing. Would be easier with two pieces of wire and a helper.
Too simple - sorry for the dumb question. There is probably a Snap-on tool for $200 that pushes both at the same time.(LOL)
