Hey guys, have any of you guys with the NBS had any problems with water leaking inside the cab. I have a 2000 Tahoe and its leaking into the driver front area. I found that it is coming in on the driver door thru the grommet and hole in the door jam where the wiring goes thru. There is a rubber grommet and a plastic piece that clip into the hole. I made sure the grommet was on the plastic tight, and the plastic piece fits in snug, but it's still coming thru. Even tried putting some foam in there to make it tighter. Funny part is the grommet on the passenger side isn't even as tight. There doesn't seem to be a tear in the rubber anywhere. I'm gonna try some of that sticky glue puddy stuff (stuff you find in heater core boxes) and see if that will seal it up. I was just wondering if anyone had similar problems.

Well, I guess it's not a common problem. I got it to stop leaking with some 3M Ribbon Sealer (stuff used for windsheilds, heater boxes, etc.) Now I just have to wait for the floor to dry completely.

I haven't heard of this before, maybe it was do to a past accident, and something wasn't put back in place. At least you fixed the problem.

Yeah, I did notice today that the wiper cowl seal wasn't sitting flush against the windshield(maybe it got warped somehow), so maybe it was channeling water where it normally wouldn't go. Those grommets in the door don't look like they were made to stop alot of waterflow. I guess if water wasn't meant to be there there wouldn't be a big need for it to be sealed real tight either. I pushed that back and used the sealer in between to help hold it against the windshield and I used the sealer all around the grommet for the wiring. I'm just glad its fixed.
