Storage box removal

Hello I am new to the forum, so please excuse me if this question has already been asked and answered. I have a 98 silverado and i would like to add a scanner to the large storage box above the glovebox. Does anyone know how or if I can remove this box in order to do some modifications to it? Thanks

Drop the glove box and look up from underneith theres the bolts it will unbolt the same as the airbag would if the truck had a Passenger airbag.

Thanks for the reply!!!!!! I removed the bolts like you said and I also removed the nuts from the inside rear of the box panel and it still won't budge. Is there something else I need to do?

There should just be 4 bolts, let me go look at mine il be right back
