removing dirt film

Well i hand washed my truck for the first time this year.:(
After i dried it up there is still like a hard invisible layer of dirt film. Any idea what to use and what to remove it. I also waxed it but the rough layer is still on. Help Please.

It's probably oxidation, if so you need to buff it out, polish and wax it.
