My dually has a 6"-8" drop(not bagged). Will this setup clear without rubbing? I've been looking at making this switch for awhile, but was initially told that some sheetmetal modifications would have to be made.

then you should be fine with these. As long as you weren't running some itty bitty side wall tire. This is a hell of a deal for someone.

well the 19's are the ony "plug and play" wheel the 22's you will have to narrow the rear end or widen the rear fenders i run 225-70-16 on the inners and 245-45-19s outside

I know this is a dunb question but do you run the stock inner wheel with that setup and can you tow with those tires and wheels?
98crewcab
11-26-2004, 12:01 AM
never a dumb question!
thats why we are here at FSC, for answers.
Most people run stock steel rims on the inside.
And I do know of people that tow with them.
not a whole lot of weight, maybe a small car .....

yeah you can tow, as long set up right. You inner wheel will carry most of the weight. hints the reason you continue running 16" with load rated tires.

will these fit the new body style 03 duallys or different lug pattern? Also what weight can a person tow with them, bumper pull 12k or pushing it with the 19's?
Outlawcrewcab
11-30-2004, 07:46 PM

98crewcab

Its a static 5-8 drop bell tech. with Belltech AirJack System in rear
I am looking into a 4 link bag for the rear.

hub is different but wheels do fit no prob. Wheels are machined for the larger 01-05 hubs, but also fit the OBS trucks. Toyo makes load rated tires.
My wheels are finally sold!!!

Front are bolt on and only require mods to tuck that big rear will also tuck and lay on a bagged truck, but once you go further fenders must be extended up to allow more upward travel. Very simple actually

Boilermaker...Let me make sure I understand,
On the rear with the 24 inch wheel
are you running only one wheel per axle? or the dual wheels per axle set up?
(one 24 with a steel 16 inner)
should the set up clear the stock rear fenders for a drop like mine at 8 inches in the rear?
i was looking into some 22s for mine all around.
Thanks for any info....

Did you supply the rims to the guys that made the mods? if so here are a few more styles to choose from if they would cut them down o a 24. www.relativetomotion.com
Also on the nbs will those work being bagged ART set up without a bd say the true 4 across the rear?

I am running (2)24" wheels per side, total of 4 in the back. The tuck under stock fenders no prob, you only run into problems when you start tuckign a lot of wheel and then you have to raise them up.
AS far as those Relative Motion, they are not wheels , they are bolt on outer covers. Basically like a set of bolt on Spinners. They can be setup to spin also or solid mounted. They are not actual wheels. Basically I guess you could say bolt on hub caps. I am going to look into the,
