Are you sure it's where it mounts? Could it be something banging against it? Maybe the jack? Maybe the seatbelt bolts?

the seatback has two tabs (one on each side) that stick out and catch/latch into a hoop mounted on the back wall. this keeps the seatback in place, so it dosent flop forward and it also allows some up and down movement for when you fold the seatbottom up/down. these tabs have a rubber insert so as to avoid metal to metal contact. Maybe you broke your rubber :D

See if you can simulate the noise by shaking the seatback to verify the source of the problem.

Those Tabs Are The Problem. I Dont Think Mine Has Any Rubber On It Do I Just Take The Seat Out To Replace Them?

Caps On Every Word?

maybe he has a nervous pinky twitch - leave him alone...

farmer - yeah you'll have to unbolt the seat so you can pick it up enough to get the seatback tabs out of the hoops - then the seatback will flop forward.

Make Sure To Put Some Lock-Tight On The Bolts When You Put The Seat And Seat-Belts Back On.

Man that's hard to do.

I figured it out. If you type everything in caps, then it defaults to the first letter being capitaized per word.

I guess the "Gods" of FSC.COM didn't like people yelling.
