gaues face pictures at night?

Does anyone have pictures of nu image platinum or white face gauges that are lit up at night? Are they a white or platinum color with black lettering? I want to do something like Mark did in the FSC university.

they are blue backlit. remind me in a couple of days when i'm not working nights and i can get a picture of it. :thumbup: it's pretty cool looking

blue or red backlit the face itself doestent light up you need el glow ones for that

These just arrived via Fed Ex and I just picked up my 96 instrument cluster today. Another project for tomorrow. Oh yeah. I'll post pics tomorrow night.

looks really sweet quadracr, those are the nu image white faced gauges, correct? do you have any different color LED's behind the cluster, or is it lit by the stock 194 bulbs.

They are the NR gauges and I am using the stock bulbs. However the bulbs have no effect on the gauges. They have a black backing that basically filters out any light. I have them wired so they have full 12 volts when the lights are switched on and then I can use the control they sent me to adjust the brightness and the color.

okay..got it. the needles are painted silver, so they don't show up as good, but you can still see'em alright

that looks cool badkelly, are you using blue leds or regular bulbs with that?

regular bulbs. i heard people weren't happy with the hot spots created with led's used as replacements. i didn't get a shot with either the high-beam indicator or turn signals....they really shine bright when being used....brighter than the regular gauges.
