A write up or a detailed explanation of how to get headliner outta ext cab obs? I've read a bunch of posts about it lately yet no one seems to explain how to get each panel loose or anything haha. Just thought it might be a good idea if someone that has done it made a write up :) I wanna try the project over winter maybe haha

I tried gettin my Drives side A pillar off the other night, got one clip off:thud:

you have to pull all the rear panels a pillars and the trim over the doors

Everything from half way up just clips in. Grab the plastic (get your fingers under it) and yank/pull it back.....it will take a little muscle, but it pops right out.

Yes it is easy to break. I broke the plastic peice that goes across the back. Dads friend is a body man and told me I would break the little clips aff and thats exactly what I did. He told me the get brittle from the heat of the sun an the roof and you just got to order a new one. As for the rear side peices they are pretty easy if you got the seat out and the right tools to remove the seatbels. But I guess to remove the headliner you wouldn't need them all the way out. As for the front you got me. They are like glued in or something cause I tried taking the drivers side off and couldn't budge it. Good luck.
