What made you go with those vs. white face guages or a Escalade or Denali cluster with a tranny temp guage?
They are white face gauges by day, but by night they glow blue, light blue, green, light green, purple and light purple. I don't really need a tranny gauge. Also some people are having problems with air-bag lights on and such. Plus you have to go to the dealer and get the mileage re-loaded. Seemed like a hassle. These are really cool and its just an overlay so you can remove it later if you don't like it. Besides I bought them on e-bay for around $30.
Sorry guys I left my digital camera at work and I am on vacation for the rest of the week. Austin County fair time around here. I will post a picture as soon as I can.

Just wondering if your gauges held up over this time? I just ordered some off of ebay for about the same price. What do you think of these? $30 seems too cheap for them to work. :D
This is the one I bought

So Y2K were those the same ones you had? If so, how did you like them?
Thanks,

I am not sure if those are the same or not, its been a year ago ;)
I will say this though, I hated those things. The controller went out one night and left me driving in the dark (common problem). They also made my headlight switch get hotter than hell. Also, I could never get the needles accurate again. Worst mod I ever did besides xenon headlight bulbs.
Good luck with yours though,
John

Ok, well I knew for $30 I couldn't expect alot. I guess I'll at least try them. They are only a temporary mod until I get the Escalade gauges. I just saw these on ebay and figured what the hell it's only $30. Just one question tho, do you remember if you had to remove the needles to install yours? These are the first ones I've seen that you aren't supposed to remove the needles to install the face.
Thanks again, Jeff

Mine said that too, however they only came with a general instructions for all cars, not specific for your application. There was no way they would install without removing the needles and needle stops. I bought mine like you as a temporary fix prior to the escalades but after looking back that just pushed me $30 further away from them.
Yours may be different, keep your fingers crossed and take pics of how they install without removing the needles. Maybe they are split or something, mine just had holes.
I wish you luck,
John
