I am getting ready to put two Explorer Pro Comp Lights on a push bar. I had an idea for the switch.. but need to know if it will work. I would like to put the switch in the extra space in my dash above the cargo light switch. Can you get another one of those style switches and put in that spot... Since its a dead spot and you can take that cover out? Does everyone know where/what I am talking about? Thanks I have enclosed a pic for you guys if that helps

Yeah, I have my alarm LED there. You have the space behind the plate. As for the switch I am not sure if one is available for that exact spot. You could PM Mark here will be able to tell you if there is one.

Just puled the panel out. Not sure if there is a switch to fit. You could always get an after market switch and place it there.

Yeah, if you can't find something stock that fits, you can always just take a nice aftermarket switch and put it in. Take a drill and a coping saw, and cut out a spot for it. It's not tough, and I think looks pretty good. I've got mine on the left side of the wheel, next to the cargo lamp switch (mine's a 92, so everything's in a different spot).

That is where the rear wiper switch is on my truck. You could get the OEM switch and figure out which wires go to which and use the wiper switch for them. You could hook up several different sets that way, they just wouldn't all be able to be on at the same time.

Too bad the Cargo Light switch wasnt bigger I was just get another one since that whole above it is bigger.. another cargo one wont snap in there... I honestly would just like a single on/off switch like the cargo one.. not 3 different ones like the wiper.. if only the plastic was bigger so it would snap in there... Thanks again though.

I have not seen the wiper switch so I may be off here. You could wire it up to the wiper switch and just use one of settings on the switch. It would then look factory. :dunno:

I've got some aftermarket switches that I got at autozone. They are round and when they are on there is a little light that comes on. They are also round and not square. I think that they look alot better then the square one. I'll post up a pic tonight when I get home and get my camera. Also drilling the hole was a PITA. the back of the plat isn't flat. It's got some lines that stick out in it, and my bit got stuck in there. Anyway I would recomend drilling with an actual bit instead of a whole saw and then using a reamer to finish the rest of the hole.

Go to the dealer or to LMCtruck.com and get a Fog Light Switch for a 95 2wd sport. That's the only model the offered a fog light switch for. You will also need the other backing plate with the hole in it for the switch. I did it on my 95 to run lights on my push bar.
It goes in the spot below the cargo light switch ( the horizontal openings).
E-mail me if you haven't done anything yet, and what to do this. I'll get you a picture, and tell you how to wire the switch.
