is it possible to do a direct bolt in swap from 40/60 flip up bench seat to the center console captain seats?
if so, whats a good price for a set with console from a salvage yard?

The swap is not very difficutly, now the $$ on the other hand I have no idea what a set of seats and center console will run, probably somewhere int he neighborhood of $600+

I did it in mine. Direct bolt in. I used seats out of a 2002 tahoe. But i didn't use the console, Im haveing a fiberglass one made. you'll have to get a harness for the power seats to work. I didn't hook up the heat yet, because i haven't figured out what harness i need for it.

ok, guys i have never dealt with a auto salvage before...do they do any trading? since it would be a direct bolt in, i would want to try to see if they would trade with me and i give them some money to make up the difference, do you all know if salvages do this or does it depend on the particular place? how does the center console stay in place? does it bolt to where my middle seat bolts to? and where would i get the harness to get the power seats to work?
i sat in a friends truck with the captain seats and i was pissed when i felt how comfortable his were compared to mine. i gotta have em now lol
