Anywhere to go near San Luis Obispo, CA?

Ok aside from the Obvious Pismo, what are some other cool places semi local to SLO to offroad? I know of Pozo (been there, was ok) cayucos (havent been there) and pismo, but thats about it. I know there must be random roads and trails out in those hills/mountains somewhere.

They are usually priviate property. Might wanna go by the nuclear power plant down there. I heard theres a few trails up that way. Or maybe go down to Gorman or come up here to Hollister.
