I just put liquid all metal polish on my rims and wiped it off. I was wondering if I could go and do nevr dull over that ?As I still have some water spots on my wheels.....or would it just take the polish I put on off or what? Is nevr dul safe to use on Billet? I figured after the nevr dull I would go over it with wax..please let me know ur opinions. If I cant get someof the small water spots off should I not wax since it will be trapped under or what? I think it just needs another polishing tho and they will be up since the dirt off the wheel was BLACK!Just give me ur point of view and it would be greatly appreciated!Thanxs!

Most rims made today contain a clear coat over the metal, and therefore all the metal polishes you can buy won't do much for them at all unless you remove that clear coat. To make them shine like brand new I would recommend putting about 10 coats of Zaino http://www.zainobros.com on each of them, this will help keep the brake dust piling up and other contaminents, however if you don't own any Zaino or don't want to focus on the meticulous steps that it requires, I would go to the local Wal Mart and buy a Mothers Clay Bar, and go over the wheel, removing any contaminents and water spots on your wheels. Just follow the directions on it and you will be fine. I would then follow up the clay bar treatment with an application of your favorite wax (I user Zaino, but Mothers Caranuba is good as well), don't use swirl mark removers or any abrasives on the wheels, because the clear coat is already thin enough and you don't want to wear it even thinner. Good luck with the rims whatever you decide.

I use everything Meguiar's. They even got professional pictures of my last car (The Eclipse) for their 'future use' they said.... Still have yet to see anything though..

I have Billet Boyd Coddington Patriots and they look like mirrors!
Never Dull the whole wheel and finish up with Mothers metal polish.
Then go over them with Zaino.

I use Eagle One Billet Polish on my Budniks, it works like a charm. The Eagle one is the best stuff I have used, over the mothers and 2 others.

I may be wrong, but I don't beleive that billets (Boyds, Budniks, etc.) have a clear-coated finish. I use Wenol metal polish (there's two different stages) and my rims look like a mirror! There are pics @ Http://www.streetsourcemag.com/Profile.asp?ProfileID=7754.

PS...Where can I get some of this Zaino stuff? It sounds like THE stuff to use...

Correct Scream they arent Clear Coated! I can have em re-polished in a year to remove the pits in the inner wheel or windows right? I heard that will cost around $400, not bad considering they would be like new! Scream do you clean the inside between the windows since ur rim is fully polished also? I dont like see'in all the dirt and water spots back there but its a B8itch to get to and clean!

YES!!!!!!!! I clean/polish the inside of the wheel when I rotate my tires. Luckily, the holes in the design are big enough to allow for SOME cleaning between rotations.
