I'm making an A-pillar for my truck. I've got a 3" sunpro tach that will go lowest, then a Faze A/F guage a little higher up. Seems like something should go in a third location at the top. I usually have lots of ideas (but not enough $$) but am pretty much stumped with this one.
I have an oil pressure guage, ampmeter and water temp guage in the dash. A map light? picture holder? Okay so those are pretty :gay:
Would another guage look a little too ricey?

Maybe... Fuel temperature, theirs an important spec to monitor

Putting in a hughes 2500 converter, tranny temp might be something to monitor

Do you have a transmission cooler?

I've got a beatup medium sized external cooler ziptied to my radsupport infront of my beatup condenser.

Tranny temp that important to moniter? I never tow nor do I have a tow hitch or anything to tow.

Never hurts to know what the trans temp is. Hell, the new trucks come w/ them in the cluster already.

Yep. I would go with a tranny temp gauge. It's cheaper than having to fix or replace your current tranny. :read:

Anything 200* or less is fine.

Came to me on the way home, what a forehead slapper.

I've been thinking about that for my '99 when i get new speakers. The only problem I thought of was where to put the tweeter on the pass side. I know they make new pillars for the driver side but I've never heard of them for the pass.
