01' Tahoe floormats won't come clean!

Anybody got a 00 or 01 with the light grey interior? My factory plastic floor mats will not come clean. They are grungy looking & I have scrubbed them with everything I can think of. They looked good the day we bought it but as soon as we drove it a few times they haven't come clean since then. Anybody have the same problem?

YEa mine are like that. I've scrubbed them with all types of cleaners but when they dry they look like **** again. I dunno.

I have tried:

Simple green, Castrol super clean, lacquer thinner!, windex, 409, bathroom cleaner, etc.

Nothing will touch the dirt! I hate those damn mats!

I've had luck with that product called "Oxy-clean" (or something to that effect).

I got the LT on my Silverado and they put those cheap ass mats in also. I am a detailer and I have tried all of my different chemicals and it did not help at all. I am going to try to get new ones even if I have to start **** at the dealership.:D

I'm thinking about buying some lloyd full carpet floor mats --- like those won't get dirty.

I think those look the best, just have to keep them clean.

same problem here....tried oxi-clean, resolve, simple greeen. i think the oxi worked the best

I wash them down with water and scrub really hard. Last time I sprayed them down with Sun of A Gun. That stuff made them shinier than new. But the bad side is they were slippery for two days. That was 2 weeks ago, and they still look real good. I guess the looks for slipping 2 days was a good trade off.

i actually put some of that meguirs tire gel on mine. they turned out good and they made the interior of the truck smell good too. it was pretty slippery for a few days but they shined good for aobut 2 weeks until i washed em.
