I have had wax on my trim for a long time, nothing will take it off that I have tried. Any suggestions?

Yeah, i would like to know too. got the same problem on the SS and the silverado. anybody know?? other than shaving all molding and emblems. i know somebody will reply that sooner or later. kinda hard to get wax on it if it ain't there:read:

Rub it on/in and wash it off. Stand back and look at your like new trim.:D

Here is the stuff I use at the shop, Auto-Fit Refinish System Restorer, it's made by Voss Chemie, It's a Germen Company. I bought it from my paint supply guy, but I guess you could do a search on the web for it. This stuff takes the wax off and makes it like new again.

It works, I think it is the greasy, oily stuff that actually takes it out.

ERASER!!!! It works. :naughty: I just spend about 10 min taking off wax that has been on my trim since I can remember. Any kind works, I tried them all to see. Thanx gil_bo. :D

I've used the eraser and it takes most of it off, but I tried the peanut butter and it worked even better. JUst rubbed it on and rubbed it off and no more white residue, even leaves a shine!:cool:
