well ive been soldering in some green leds into my gauges for turn signals and jsut desided to do the other small ones as well.....
well the turn signals, bright beam work great...
fixed the first few problems with the leds, the reversed with grounds. :(
and well now the air bag led stays half lit......
and the ABS light wont go out.... at least not from starting up the engine for a min.... i think it would go off like the airbag/check engine light go off.......
the ABS light was never on before, tho maybe the bulb was blew when i bought the truck...

but dang i must say ill never be driven with my turn signals stuck on again.LOL they are bright!!!! :D

LOL anything to get away from stock......
during the day the visable mods are visable..... at night the lighting mods are visable ;)

one thing i would like to do tho is remove the needle gauges leds and put a pair of cold cathodes in the rear for a smooth full lighting... right now the speedo needle doesnt light up to well :(

just put a led into my headlight switch. looks good :) and well i didnt know the factory bulb had a blue coating over it......... but sure enough i just pulled it out and its got a blue coating on the bulb.
next thing to swap out is the heater control bulbs to green leds. then the door lock/window controls ;)

I have a white guage face that I bought off of ebay. It seems that the lighting on the guages are not really bright. The controller for it has a knob to turn it up, but I have it all the way up and just doesnt seem bright ebough. I changed to blue leds in my heater controls and they are brighter and make the guages look even dimmer. Any suggestions? It is possible to get a better controller for the guages to make them brighter?
