View Full Version : 2 door tahoe owners help!

i took out my spare tire(got 37's now dont think its very useful) and i didnt even realize that theres no plastic panel where the spare tire bracket mounts. does anybody know if theres even a plastic panel that exists to cover that up? pictures,part numbers, anything would be greatly appreciated

I am going to try to remember all this, since my interior hasn't been together in quite a while. But didn't the spare tire mount just sit over the jack cover panel? There should be 2 holes near the base of the window where to top mounted bolted in, and 2 more holes in the floor, but I don't remember any missing panels behind the tire mount.

Behind my spare tire, there is a panel that covers up the jack and tools. The Panel has like a knob on it that unscrews and the panel comes off. I would post pics but my truck is on the other side of the country. Sorry

Thats not a 2 door though. Granted the process is the same, but the distance between the wheel and the rear hatch is shorter in a 2 door.
