Hey guys, do any of you know how to lay your own custom carpet. Ive seen on a show on tv, they were showing an interior shop laying carpet in this hot rod, and using steam I think to mold it into the shape of the floor. I dont want to buy one of those aftermarket ready fit carpets, but just a big piece, ill cut it to size & mold it in. I recently bodydropped my truck, and do not want to use the stock carept. I also need to know what type of carpet to buy. If anyone knows, or knows a good web site or forum site, let me know, thanks.

www.stockinteriors.com they said that you jsut pull your old carpet out and then lay the new one over it and wait for it to become flat (better doing outside in a warm day I assume). Then you mark the seatbelt holes, trim the sides to the old carpet, etc...
