Ok I was thinking, since I amsuch a keep bastard then will this idea work????

I want to cover my interior in dynamat or something equal then in all the cavities pack them with polyfill. you can get tons of that crap at wal-mart in there old lady area (crafts) for like 1$

Pack mainly the ext cab portion not the doors...

Dynomat sounds (hyuk) like a good idea but I don't know about the polyfill. Might retain moisture & cause rust problems.

Don't know if this would work but I've thought of using a particular type of roof liner material as an inexpensive substitute for the Dynomat. The stuff I'm thinking of using is kind of elastic &, I believe, has a peel-away adhesive backing. I've seen it used on TV "Home" shows but don't know its proper name. Just an idea.

Yeah that polyester fiber stuff at Walmart is the same crap if you do decide to do that.

I did my whole interior with the sound deadening stuff. I didn't use Dynamat ($$$$$) I used the same kind of stuff I got from www.partsexpress.com for $1.25 for a sheet 10" x 10". I put two layers on the entire interior and it made a big difference. Also put it in the doors.
Here's a bunch of pictures of the process. Sound deadening Project (http://users2.ev1.net/~jpendlum/Web%20Pages/SOUND%20DEADENING.htm)

You'll be suprised how easy the interior comes out. Not many bolts which is scarey.

They are right about the fiberfill...if you really are interested in filling all your holes and stuff go with expanding foam...it' is water resistant and will expand to fill whatever hole you have.

There are quite a few brands of Dynamat type stuff out there. I would stick with RAAMmat or Brownbread from B-Quiet.com

Those two brands are a lot cheaper than dynamat and I that the Brownbread has a better adhesive on it so it'll never fall down even in 100 degree heat.

That's just my .02

Here is what we are doing to my truck for stereo competition to kill sound.

Layer of Raamat, good stuff, like dynamat extreme but much cheaper, We doubled alot of areas, doors, floor board, headliner. can get it at raam@raamaudio.com Tell him Michael sent you.

Filled all holes with polyfill and modeling clay to deaden it. Then put Aluminum tape to cover everything. Seals off all holes.

Layer of Closed cell foam as it is water proof and absorbs noise and vibration better on top of the mat.

Layer of neoprene. It is sound proof, will block all noise coming from outside. Makes a good barrier.

Layer of esther acoustic foam. This suspends the neoprene and makes soundprrof floating barrier. It will absorb almost all soundwaves in the car.

Spray deadener on wheel wells inside and out.

Kinda elaborate :head: But it should work awesome. we needed to do something extreme for stereo competitions. I will tell you one thing, I will have no road noise at all
