It would help if you were to tell what you wanted to do exactly. If yo just want to paint your dash, then sand it down with varying grits and paint.

i want to put a radar detector in the dash where my ac vents ar in the center of the dash i want to put a moniter their and maby some other off the wall stuff

well im slightly remolding my dashes trim ring and making the inside fit my radio down low ;)

tho with the radar detector i dont know about that idea!!!!!! due to the sensors being blocked :( only way that would work is IF you have one of the expensive onces with the exterior mounted sensors! ;)
