How do I get the back seat out of an ext. cab?

flip the rear seat up, look down where the seat pivots you will see a silver post that sits in a metal bracket with a bolt thru it (there is one on each side) take the bolt out and lift the seat out. I think the seat has to be folded up to get it out. and get a friend to help lift it out it is heavy and bulky...lol

Is this normally covered up by a small bracket cover?

Man I really am not looking forward to this. Have to remove everything to get the headliner out and start cutting the rear seat up. How does the interior paneling come off? Just start pulling?

It is not that hard. Let me know if you need more info. You pull the plastic covers and then unbolt it. There are only 2 bolts that hold it in.

How about all the plasticy crap around the back window/back seatbelt? Jus start pulling and hope nothing breaks?

Becareful. The clips break very easily. You have to pull the center top part first. Most of my clips broke when I pulled it out.

The center top peice should be the last piece you pull out. It has two plastic wings (one on each side) that if you try to pull down on they will break. You can get everything else out of there without having to pull the top part. Make that your last part. The two big side will have to be kinda rolled off the top part. The have a little lip that fit up under the top piece. Once you get all the screws out of the side pieces grab the bottom of them and pull from the bottom, with your other hand up by the top and just kinda roll them out of there.
