overhead console

What do you think of puting in a overhead console? Do I have the wires up in the roof to install one? ( I have an 05 W/T) I know in my dodge all I had to do was get the harness, like 30 bucks? Has anyone els done this. I dont wana cut my liner and fing out it was a bad idea!
