Permanent Marker Removal? Quick

I know this may be impossible but I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to removing black permanent marker from a cloth seat? It was in my back pocket and came open and got all over my friends seat. If not where can I find stock replacment seat covers for a mitsibishi for cheap? Thanks in adavance.

Hairspray takes out permanant black marker from just about anything I've ever tried. Otherwise, if you have a John Deere dealership around, they have JD Carpet cleaner and it will take out literally ANYTHING!!!!

Just spray hairspray on it and let it sit then wipe it off? Aerosol can hairspray or any kind? Does it fade the seat color or anything? Theres a John Deere store about 25min. from me I might see of they ahve the carpet cleaner. thanks

try brake cleaner... it is also a solvent... i personally use paint thinner on car interiors... just test anything u try on somewhere hidden first in case it has a bad reaction :read:
