dash paint

can anyone tell me how to pull and paint my dashand whether i can paint over the soft i guess spongy part on the door and dash on my 99 silverado

Don't know about the newer trucks, but I painted my 78 k20's interior and it all painted up fine.

Yes you can, they have made paint just for that, go to a automotive store or have a paint shop do it. If you want a smoove paint job do alot of light coats to fill in the grooves but if you like the texture don't do so many coats.
