custom overhead console ideas

i wanted to do something custom to my overhead console in a 99 two door tahoe and was looking for some ideas?

if it was me, i'd rip it out and put in a sunroof...
but what were you thinking? paint? or putting something specific up there like controls or gauges or something?
i don't know about you but i have a pointless piece right in the front where the rear a/c controls would go and i'm always looking at it and trying to figure out what to do with it. there's some good threads about that i remember reading, some of the guys have done some cool ish right there.
