Driver 1 on odometer

I searched before posting.
So as most may know I own an 04 silverado ext cab. I was wondering, on my odometer when i turn on my truck it says driver 1, and i just wanted to know if that could be changed, and if so how.

You may have custom settings for seats, etc for 2 different drivers. The Corvette offers this I believe.

Do the new trucks have VATS chips in the keys?

On mine it depends which key fob was used last to unlock it. The one I carry in my pocket causes "DRIVER 2" to display. The spare in the house causes "DRIVER 1" to come up. When I first got the truck, my kids asked me what that ment. I told them the truck weighs the driver; I weigh twice as much as your mom, so it calls me "DRIVER 2." In some of the higher trim levels I think it sets the mirrors and seats. That is way too much automation. I want my throttle linkage back.
