Now dont go off on me
I was watching Pimp My Ride, and they installed in this one guys seats a fan to blow cool air at your back
is there any site that sells a kit

I've heard of kits for heated seats, but never AC seat kits. Of course, I wouldn't be too surprised if they exist. If nobody knows here. I bet that you could call an upscale custom upholstery shop and ask them what they use whether it be custom or a kit that they buy.

i dont know if its like AC or if its just a fan to keep the air moving. I was gunna send WCC a email as a last resort

Maybe you could find a wrecked luxury car or something and strip the parts you needed and adapt it to the truck seat?

The Ford Expedition has them....Id rather have cooled seats than heated seats...maybe GM will catch on to that.

recaro or a similar company has cooled seats....they may sell conversion kits. i was just reading about a car that has them in popular hot rodding

If you have an extended cab you can probably do it yourself. You have air vents for the back seat that go through the underside of the center console. You should be able to either tap into or reroute them to under the front seats. I don't see it working too well with the poor leather that comes in the trucks. It will work better with either a quality perforated leather seat or cloth.
They were just computer style fans w/ chicken wire screens over them. :read:

doug, i heard that somewhere last night, i dont think that can push good airflow through the stock seat material..lol

that jpcustoms kit looks like a bunch of computer fans...which if im not mistaken is what he used on pimp my ride....

I've seen 2004 Escalades with heated and AC'd seats and cupholders.
GM caught on. :D
EDIT: A quick check of Cadillac's website says it might only be Escalade ESV Platinums that have heated/cooled seats/cupholders.

just me but it seems that the fans wouldn't cool that well??? And how hell would they warm??/
