I have a 89 Sierra and we have a 97 silverado thats sitting around and i was wondering how hard it would be to change the interior... would the dash work? i mean i got all the wiring from the 97 and everything... so i was wonderin if everything would work rite?

I agree, I think it would really be more of a hassle then it would be worth even if it was possible, take into consideration the cluster, glove box etc would be different and mounting places would be completely different i would imagine, it would be neat, but like he said

Yea i figured it would be... im just tired of this old dash with no tach... i mean i could just drop the whole cab on the truck and paint it

If both cabs are in good shape that would be easy enough. But your engine and chassis harnesses won't plug in.

The best bet is to glass your dash that way you can but in custom gauges or pods. But to change out the entire dash will be a Major Headache!!
