digital ac control [Archive]

i know this mite have been asked before but i wasnt sure. Can i just unplug my factory ac control and plug the digital in and it work fine. or do i need to reprogram my truck and do some other stuff. i just want to know if it is worth the upgrade? thanks

Neither. You have to add sensors, change wire harness, splice some wires, and then reprogram the BCM in your truck.

I tried it and it wont work I got a digital hvac if anyone wants it cheep

now when you say the digital ac control, are you talking about the gm one that comes with the higher model trucks? if so okay, if not is this possible?
