thought there was someone on here that did this already

think they just got a small concole out of a reg cab to make it work :dunno:

i also think sport trucks or street trucks did an article about this a few months back :dunno:

Well, I have a Tahoe but the same should apply. They moved the console up a few inches to get enough clearance for the hole in my case. What do you mean by the big console...does it run the length of the headliner?

The problem...which I think you were getting at earlier....is that the long console has more holes in the headliner.
I would take the console down...just that 1 screw at the front and then it pulls to the front and down....and check that your new sunroof will cover all the holes in the liner.

Also the crew cabs have a structural support that runs at the back of the console that might not allow you to put in a sunroof. At least it will make it a lot harder.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but how much would having a sunroof put in cost?

you would need the smaller console ofcourse, the need for the large console on FSC is great, you shouldn't have any problem trading it out. According to GM, you shouldn't need to replace the headliner.

I traded my long for a short and they moved it up........its a Hollandia/Webasto and cost $1200 installed 3 years on labor lifetime on parts! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/Slammed01/a49d4636.jpg no problems so far and next year will be a year!

Wow slammedchevy01, your sunroof looks VERY nice. Is it loud when open and does it rattle at all?
