View Full Version : 85 swb 3000$ **SOLD 10/26/05**
Kenduhl 07-18-2005, 09:28 PM 85 swb chevy, dropped 5/7 coils and contral arms in the front and a flip kit and shackles in the back color is stock off 99-00 chevy trucks and tahoe its a light brown/gold, 305 motor 350 tranny runs and drives good looks like in the pic minus the wheels and it got keyed on the drivers side, instead of the 20's it has stockers of an OBS with brand new front tires needs alittle paint work some rims and it would be very nice. Pic is in the link would like to get 3000$

mileage is 130,000 motor was rebuilt by previous owner at prolly 80 or so, origional tranny but its been rebuilt and the interior is nice black seat belts/carpet/new bench seat/headliner, the paint on the door panels are flaking, and the dash is cracked but has one of the little carpet covers. with alittle money this truck would be extremely nice.

they are no smaller than an s10. and man, 4 cyl 5 speed so its badass on gas mileage. its a great daily. if you change your mind lemme know man. otherwise, its up for sale everyone, if you want it lemme know cuz when i sell it im turning around and buying this truck. lol

probably, im not positive though, i used it as my daily driver for about a year and then parked it and i start it up everyonce and a while but i dont really drive it,

doesnt run hot, leaks about 3 drops of oil every week nothing big, and it burns alittle, idles pretty smooth, its been sitting for about 4 months

Ya, AZ is alittle far to drive a truck that hasent been driven over 3 miles in the last 6 months, i would think to like somewhere in texas or like oklahomo or LA would be alright. just keep an eye on everything.

i would trade for an OBS ext cab, but i dont wanna trade my truck plus money. this truck im selling needs ALITTLE work to be a good driver like new PS pump and some paint work and it doesnt have the 20's on it, if you really want ill trade you strait up for your ext cab minus the wheels., and yes the A/C works, just needs to be charged.

No, demon has my camera.like i said the paint got keyed and the only thing wrong with the interior is the door panels and dash, everything else is fairly new.

No I am not dead, just taking some time away from trucks for a while....I also build and refinish guitars and that has had most of my time lately. I am rebuilding my 84 SWB Chevy as well and will sell it in the near future. I inherited my grandads 1970 SWB Ford and don't have the time, money, or space for all of these trucks. Good news is that my buddy has committed to buying the 84 so that's one less thing to worry about.
That being said, I saw this truck right after you finished it and it is definitely worth way more than $1800. I hope you are able to sell it soon. What are planning to build after this truck?

My DD needs some work, its a 5/7 dropped 96 all shaved needs some paid work, a hood, new wheels, and a water pump but i just dont have the time nor money at this point..

ya thats after it being in autotrader long enough for them to tell me i cant have it in there any more, hopefully lohrtbt will come get it soon, if something comes up and he doesnt get it ill let people know.
Make sure Dave doesn't show up in sandles, his hammer toes may crack the shop floor. :eek:
