Changing Odometer reading on 95-99 truck?

I saw the article on how to do it on the pre 1995 trucks, but what about the newer interior trucks?

I have the Police 130mph cluster and want to roll the odometer from 116,000 miles to 190,000 miles. I think 190,000 miles is pretty close to the 300,000 kilometers my current cluster reads.

it is illigeal to change the reading with that said you can find one on ebay with a higher mileage reading or find someone to do it illgealy

it may be illegal, but i've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for raising their mileage. not sure how the speedo if feed in newer trucks, but i think your best bet is to find out and try to duplicate it.

I thought over 200,000 miles they didn't care about what the mileage says any way?

i dont know if its true for all states, but i know in pa and many others after 200.000 you can put on your registration and title - exempt for mileage, but that doesnt mean potentional buyers dont want to know.

Ahhh I can figure it out. I want my trucks milage to read accurate. Should be illegal to swap it for one that isnt reading the same. Plus the fact im at 221,xxx and my title is stamped exempt. I shouldnt get bothered about it.

Since your location is Wisconsin, you probably meant 100,000 miles.

Here in NC, it's the years that matter. After 10 years, there's no need for mileage to be posted on the title.
