Does Anyone Know What this Part is?

I have a 2005 Chevy Suburban LT Autoride. There is this black part, half circle shaped, on the drivers side next to the sun visor connected to the side of reading lamps/sun roof control panel.

I have looked everywhere and dont know what this little black piece is, it also has 3 little slots in it.

Any Ideas?

Its either the microphone for the onstar or a temp sensor for the climate control (if you have that feature). However, in most vehilces I've seen, the microphone was all by itself mounted in the headliner.

all of the microphones I have seen have been mounted to the console.

its most likely a temp sensor for the climate control. is it buzzing at you yet lol.

no its the mic for onstar. the inside cabin temp sensor for you should be located in
the sunroof.

Its the microphone for Onstar. My dads 2000 Denali has the exact same thing coming out the edge of the overhead console.

if the thing you're talking about is the black mic on the bottom, then it's a onstar microphone
