raise center console?

I noticed that the Chevy center console sits pretty low, the dodge adn ford center consoles are pretty high. Has anyone tried or even know if it's possible to raise the armrest portion of the center console?

Anything is possible with a little fabrication. If you are happy with the stock one, you can build a bracket to raise it the desired amount. Better yet, you could build one to your exact desired dimensions out of MDF and fiberglass. I've been thinking about doing that myself for longer than I would like to admit, but I haven't found/made the time to make it a reality.
