Where are the belts mounted? I see no harness bar so I know they aren't properly installed. For the safety of your back, they must be installed between a -5* arc from the passthrough on the seat to a +15* arc. If it is outside of that range, you run a HUGE risk of SERIOUS injury if you are in any sort of accident. A more negative angle than -5* (Mounted more than ~inch below the seat passthrough in that close of quarters) will cause the seatback to be crushed in the event of an accident, and with the seatback your spine will be compressed. Seen it happen, its ugly. Mount it way up above the seat and the opposite happens....the seat back either tears off or splits, and the improper angle doesn't restrain you properly because as the seatback rips it no longer holds the belts in place and allows you to travel farther forward.
Install a harness bar across the back. If you're in an accident of any magnitude, it WILL save your life, and you'll look more hardcore. Otherwise, use your stock belts if you can, or don't count on much protection.

Its fine man no hard feelings, I hear you on the pissed off after workin on something. I love the look of em in your truck, they actually fit in there much better than I would have ever expected. RC trucks look great with nice seats like that! I also like that front airdam/bumpercover you have on the front of the truck, never seen one like that but it really fits well.
I just always cringe seeing setups without bars....I road race, and do lots of other competitive racing, and every once in a while a tech inspector lets someone slip by with improperly setup seats, and I've seen catastrophic results afterwards. When I'm inspecting, I'll let it slide for Autocross but beyond that its a No-Go.

Well, you have the chance to set it up ideally. The ideal setup would be make it so that when you are sitting in the seats, it goes through the seats without touching them in the pass through's and the angle of curvature of the belts over your shoulder from the harness bar, to your shoulders, then to the latch is 90*. That way in the case of needing the restraints, you will get the most efficient angle on your body, and no contact with the seat backs whatsoever to mess up anything. Anywhere in the -5* to actually 30* range through the seatback is acceptable though. (The angle is the measure of the roll bar where the belt passes through the seat back, measured in relation to the perpindicular.

Heres a very good guide from G-Force sent off with their belts.

Heres some more reference information I found for you. It discusses more details about the risks and faults with different angles and how to find the ideal

slammed97, I like your truck. Real clean. And its the first time that I have seen the stock lights look good. The yellow turn sigs, and the red tails look great IMO. Kinda sets the white off. Cool.
