Ok i have a '99 yukon denali and soon ill be installing an aftermarket pioneer headunit. Right now the radio is still in my camaro SS hooked up to those radio controls so now i want to have functional radio controls in my Denali.

I already found a brand new tan leather steering wheel from an '02 denali. It is tan just like my current one is. basically its the exact steering wheel just with the radio controls. I plan on bolting that steering wheel up and using my current airbag. From what ive read so far, i just need to change the airbag clock spring(coil) I also read that the '02 and earlier use a single stage airbag, so a '02 coil should work with my '99 airbag with no issues. My only concern is which clock spring do i get? does anyone have the part number for an '02 denali w/radio controls? the connector going to the radio controls only has 4 wires so once i get the coil, i should have the 4 same wires inside the column which i can then tap into. Of those 4 wires, i figure one is the wire for illunination, one is the ground, and then one wire is a constant signal in(ground or positive, i need to check that out still) and then the last wire is the signal which goes to the OEM radio. I will be buying a steering wheel control interface like i did for my ss and that uses that last signal wire and i can program the wheel controls as whatever i want(anything that i can do with my stock pioneer remote.

so i guess i just need to know which airbag coil i need to buy and i need to make sure the '02 coil will fit my 99 steering colunm. I do not feel i need to buy the whole harness from the coil into the dash, i do have a lot of wiring experience and i am confident that wont be an issue. Thanks in advance for any help and info.
