What is the best to remove the center jump seat between the passenger and driver bucket seat? Do you have to remove or unbolt the bucket seats to remove the mounting bracket? Any advice would be appreciated. I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 Sportside.

Since you didn't list a year, I'll assume you mean on a NBS truck.
Just take both the seats out and then the middle seat lifts right out.

Does anyone have pictures of how this would look? I would greatly appreciate it if you posted them. Thanks

I was thinking of puting some kind of console there, but now im thinking that i have 3 people in my truck pretty offten, so it would be kind of stupid to take out the 3rd seat.

I am replacing it jump seat with a full-length console. Wondering if the console bracket goes in the same way the jump seat bracket goes? Might as well then do it at the same time, while the seats are out.

Watch the wires that go to the sensors and (if you have electric) seat controls. Easy to pinch them.

I wouldnt mind getting my subs out from behind the seats and putting the in a custom console, but I'm not very good at building crap like that.

a 15 mm deep socket works best on the fron nuts on a 99-2002 1500 reg cab truck seats. on the back i think its just a torx socket... i looks alright without a console but i would suggest putting a console from an extended cab, the brackets fit, and it looks great and really sets you apart from all the other reg cabs.
