I bought these bars from BogeyBoy82 and have since decided not to put them on my truck. So here's the original ad, just copied and pasted in, $200 bucks is fine, and if you wanna figure out how and pay for them to get shipped, i'll do it. But would PREFER LOCAL SALE. These things are just sitting in the bed of my truck since i have nowhere to put them. (i live in apartments with a parking garage)
These will fit a NBS tahoe or suburban as well as a NBS crew cab either 1500 or 2500. The tahoe is the only vehicle that they will go wheel well to wheel well on though. The bar ends had to be trimmed in a couple spots explained as follows:
1. Trimmed on the ends b/c they stuck too far into fenderwells and even stock size tires would rub with them
2. Passenger side auxillary mount tabs cut off b/c N-fab forgot that some people have rear a/c lines running to the back of there vehicles where these tabs hit the body. These tabs are "optional" and only needed for "heavy offroad use" according to the directions N-Fab provided for mounting. ie...they werent really needed and they didnt fit with the A/C lines so we cut them off. They show a little rust where they were cut off but this is not visible and could easily be touched up with a can of rustoleum. I did not even have bolts in the drivers side optional tabs and the bars did not flex atall. My friends say passenger side bar "gave" more but i never felt it. As long as you correctly bolt on the primary tabs you should never have a problem
I do not have any of the hardware for these bars. It was simple about 12 bolts with a couple washers and a nut...generic stuff that can be picked up anywhere. I do not have the directions either but simply hold it up there..make your marks...drill some holes and bolt em up to the body.
Asking price is $200 obo. These things are huge and heavy. I do not want to ship them and would prefer local pickup but buyer will pay ALL shipping costs if they choose to go this route. Please do not use shipping as a negotiating tool. Thanks - G.
