Well all i know is that those foose speedsters he has are the real deal, My cousin was fortunate enough to own an RST, and i was fortunate enough to buy his rims from him. I had them for about 6 months, and recently sold them. They even had FOOSE ingraved in them on the center cap.

The Regency Company is located around Dallas/Fort Worth area, and they pick a dealership of their choice, order a base model pickup through that dealership (sometimes even without A/C), and they put about 8 grand worth of aftermarket parts on it, then mark the price up accordingly. Basically, you couldnt buy everything and get it installed/painted, for the price they sell them for. And to top it off everything they put on those trucks/vans is the real deal, no imitations.

Most of the regency model pickups (RST) are priced below the SS, and they have many more aftermarket parts, although only pieced with the 5.3 or 4.8, they are a better deal IMO.

Hell, you can call 411 on your cell phone right now, tell the operator Fort Worth Texas, ask for Regency. You can talk to some of the guys, Including Mike and Jon, who build these incredible looking trucks, and ask them if the wheels are real or not.......:rocking:

http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/stories/moss/page1.html that site says they are foose designed... i guess they might be but they are not the speedstars.... just very similar, i bet they got rid of the simulated rivets to keep the price down on this edition...

I recently seen a single cab RST at a dealership, so I stopped to check it out and see what all the hype was about. Then a salesman popped up out of no where and asked if I was gonna trade in my rado for it. I laughed, and said hell no, who in there right mind would trade in a ext cab for a single cab? Anyways, it was priced at $39,999. I asked "what was so special about it besides wheels, racing stripes, and leather interior." The salesman told me it had headers and exhaust. I said "thats it?" he said "yea". Maybe he had no product knowledge about the truck, but that price is insane.

It has suspension modifications, the interior is pretty damn nice, baer brakes on the front, custom roll pan with exhaust tips molded in, rst spoiler, billet grille, custom front bumper, all color matched and more. I agree that price that he offered you is insane. I payed quite a bit less for mine.

Look at them. They are the Speedsters, and in my opinion they look better without the rivets. Who knows what they did, he probably just has a couple models of them. and you arent going to save money by just changing the design of the wheel, all his wheels are very expensive. Why would they want to keep the price down on that edition? Everything about that truck screams expensive...
