bench to buckets on new truck

i am planning on purchasing a 05 or 06 standard cab truck. i woud like to go from the split bench to buckets and a center console. i plan to swap seats and console from and extended cab truck (most likley i will order them so i dont have to deal with locating a wrecked truck with the right interior and what not), but my concern is how far the console extends past the seats, will it interfear with the rear wall in the truck? and i guess the only other possible problem is if it still mates to the dash as if it were an extended cab truck.

You should have no problem at all if your salvage parts are from the same year range. All of the 03+ console/seats should bolt right in.

I think the only other piece you will need to replace is the lower console trim around the glove box. Make sure to get that, it is different on console vs. non-console trucks.
