Can anyone give me an idea of how much it will cost to re-upholster a couple high back bucket seats? I don't want any fancy material, just a basic cheap cloth (no leather or suede). I have no idea what it costs to have seats re-upholstered. Any ideas would be great, thanks

It really depends on what kind of shape the seats are in and what you want done. If they are in really good shape, meaning the foam doesn't need any work and it's as simple as removing the stock cover, using it as a pattern for new covers then reassembling the seat, I've seen it as cheap as $150-$200/pair. If your seats are whipped and need new foam and covers need to be made from scratch, it can easily cost $350-$500/pair. The best thing to do is call around and see if you can stop by a couple of different shops with the seats to see what they say about them. Be flexible on how quickly you need them done and know exactly what you want. Usually, the faster you need them the more expensive it will be, especially if it's their busy season. If you can work around their schedule, they might be able to work around your price. And the more complex design and fancier material, the more expensive too, obviously.

great, thanks for the info, that gives me an idea of what it'll be. I just want a cheap material, but not crappy, the seats i think are in great shape, just the material has some stains and what not and don't match my interior. the seats are just high back buckets with no detachable head rests or arm rests or anything. but thanks for giving me an idea.
