Material question/door wrapping

I am getting the material to wrap my doors (cloth) and trying to figure out which is the best.

I got a quote on some material that she said was 16oz no backing. Would this work? I dont think this is going to be thick enough, or am i wrong?

I am trying to replicate the stock cloth on the 88-94 door panel.

Also i am going to be filling in the divits in the doors, would expanding foam work or should I use something else?

Expanding foam is a little hard to work with, i know i couldnt really control it too well and it can be cut after the fact tho, but theres gotta be omething better.

well i dont want to foam the whole door, so regular foam isnt really a option.

I thought maybe bondo, but that wont hold well to cardboard...

expanding foam was the only thing i could really think of
