I am looking at painting some interior stuff, but dont know if i should just use the can stuff or go buy a gun to spray it on. I have seen some done with just a spray can and it turned out really good. Also if i buy a gun where can i get paint to fill it? thanks

If your a first timer at painting then Id go the can route. For the reason its less expensive but like they say you get what you pay for. From what Ive seen painting with a gun takes some finese and know how. Just take your time and be patiant like the tutorial says.

Yeah, If you never missed with mixing the paint dont even try, you will be so confushed. IMO it wouldnt be worth the trouble to buy a half way decent spray gun unless you planed on useing it alot, there pricey if you get one worth the crap. if you take your time with the rattle can, primer, paint and clear it, it turns out really good if its done right.

I'd go can if I were you, unless you look at doing it a lot (painting that is).

How about some pics from the fsc crew here on their interiors? I would like to do some painting on the interior of my 92 silvy and would like some ideas.

if you prep the interior good (sand+use wax/grease remover), use the the good spray can (not the 97cent a can stuff) and take your time (light coats to prevent runs) It can come out really good. I did the center console in my cougar with duplicolor metal cast base coat (silver) and it came out real nice
