removing the headrests?????

I have a 94 W/T 1500 with the bench seat. Theres a small rip in the seat so i bought a seat cover, and i want to take off the headrests. But it only allows me to go up so far then stops. Does anyone know how to remove the headrests?

Not sure but there is either a small hole on the inside of the pole base that you need to stick a paperclip in for it to release, or two buttons on the pole bases that you need to squeeze together for it to come out.

you can also put back the headrest after you put the cover on. just make 2 small holes for the poles to go thru the cover. it holds the cover up nice too.
